Calamine Solutions is a social enterprise which focuses on effectuating the entrepreneurial spirit and the social-consciousness of the Singapore society via the means of flea markets, bazaars, fairs and carnivals.
Its missions are two-fold: (1) to be an effective avenue for handicrafters, artists, and young retail talents to showcase their designs and products and (2) to serve as an effective publicity and fundraising platform for charities and welfare societies.
Our Role as An Organiser
We specialise in organising bazaars ranging from flea markets to large carnivals. Our clientele include some of the most prominent landmarks in Singapore. Our track record is boosted by our creative, and honest way of doing business.
We also specialise in creating memorable and happening private events, complete with logistics, sound and entertainment.
We believe in creativity and diversity. Our team consists of a mix of ex-professionals and managers from the creative industry, engineering, financial and sales industry. So when you work with us, you can be sure of a fun-filled and uniquely-themed event from us.

Our Role as a Launchpad for Young Entrepreneurship and Small Start-ups
We believe that Singapore will be increasingly requiring the needs of home-grown brands in the midst of the global competition. We are looking for young entrepreneurs who wish to be part of us. We all start from somewhere, and our events are a good launching pad for your entrepreneurial dreams.
Through our regular H.E.A.R.T. market at Sculpture Square, and our upcoming Flea Market @ LifeStyle Value 2009 at Singapore Expo, we empower youths and enable them to experience real-life entrepreneurship and practical life-lessons.
Our Role as a Citizen of the Society
Through our flea markets and bazaars, we aim to raise awareness for groups such as charities, non-profit organisations, lesser known talents and even a cause for the society.
One of our projects is the H.E.A.R.T. market.
The H.E.A.R.T. (Handicrafters, Entrepreneurs, Artists, and Retail Talents) market is a socially-conscious bazaar held on the 2nd weekend of every month at Sculpture Square, Middle Road. Its missions are two-fold: (1) to be an effective avenue for handicrafters, artists, and young retail talents to showcase their designs and products and (2) to serve as an effective publicity and fundraising platform for charities and welfare societies.
Friends of H.E.A.R.T. Market
Since February 2009, we have featured fundraising and awareness campaigns (via the sales of handicrafts and artworks from very special people) of organisations such as Very Special Arts Singapore, the Friends of the Disabled Society, the Muslim Kidney Action Association, Spastic Childrens' Association of Singapore, Bizlink Centre, Deaf & Hard of Hearing Federation, and the House Rabbit Society Singapore.
Friends of the Green Mart
Our eco-minded flea market, the Green Mart was also a proud supporting platform for the causes and publicity of the World Vision Singapore and Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES).
Fruits and Results of Our Efforts
After almost a year of continued execution, the H.E.A.R.T. Market has empowered many artists and entrepreneurs with disabilities to start their own small businesses to maintain a healthy livelihood. Some of these supported vendors have even started their own blogshops to showcase their handicrafted materials!
Many of the young entrepreneurs have also graduated to starting their own retail shops. This is testimony to the effectiveness of the H.E.A.R.T. Market as a springboard for entrepreneurship. Most importantly, we also witnessed an increasing spirit in corporate social responsibility amongst the young entrepreneurs. It really heartens us when we see these young vendors pledging a portion of their earnings for our supported charities, and even volunteering for their activities!
